The rail core is an integral
part of the poker table. The core is designed to be one solid, oval piece.
There are vertical sides to the rail core which will be covered by foam and
vinyl. The vertical sides give the rail depth and will cover the poker table
top like a bottle cap. This rail design allows for easy maintenance of the
poker table felt and fabric because the rail can be removed from the table top
in one piece. The vinyl will not be stapled to the bottom of the table top like
many other designs. The rail core will be covered with foam and vinyl as
described in a later chapter.
