Rail Core Vinyl Application

Applying the vinyl to the rail is the most important and time consuming part of building the poker table. The quality of a poker table is often judged by how well the rail is constructed and covered. This section is likely the most difficult to get through because of the need to consistently pull and stretch a flat piece of vinyl over and around a 3 dimensional object with rounded curves.The rail will end up covering the table top, therefore, hiding all the staples and places that the foam and vinyl were secured. Another huge advantage to this design is that the rail and the table top are separate single pieces. In the future, if damage were to occur to either piece, the rail comes off of the table top for easier maintenance without ripping the whole table apart.
